User ID Request - User Access System
Request for User Access to Student Information System
The University of Georgia provides access to the Student Information System to employees with a legitimate need for information concerning students. Academic advisors, administrators, and departmental support staff may request an account through their supervisor. The legitimacy of each request will be evaluated and, if approved, the user will be assigned a specific level of security clearance.
The employee must first have a valid UGA MyID and then complete the FERPA Tutorial and Quiz located at:
http://www.reg.uga.edu/or.nsf/html/ferpaTutorialAndQuiz
The employee's supervisor or designee should then request the necessary access at:
https://apps.reg.uga.edu/UserAccess
Access Termination
The same link can be used when an employee's access must be removed. The employee’s supervisor or designee should complete the ‘Create Access Termination Request’ form. If an access termination must be processed immediately please call Access Services at (706) 542-4000 to terminate access even before completing the form.
