Official receipt of these scores by the University of Georgia is required to meet these qualifications. A student seeking verification that UGA is in receipt of these scores may:
    a. Check the Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) information on OASIS, the on-line registration system, to see if the requirement has been satisfied. If test scores which satisfy the requirement have been received by UGA, this will be reflected on the DARS. Standardized test scores received in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions are loaded on the UGA Student Information System daily and are usually accessible in OASIS 48 hours later.

    b. Contact a Service Representative in the Record Services and Registration Office, Holmes/Hunter Academic Building, (706) 542-4040.

    c. Contact his/her Academic Advisor.

    TRANSFER STUDENTS

Because they are not required for admission, standardized test scores for transfer students are generally not posted on the UGA information system. A student who believes that he/she has met these qualifications but does not find the scores posted may contact the College Board Corporate Headquarters at (609) 921-9000 or on-line at www.collegeboard.com and/or the ACT Headquarters at (319) 337-1000 or on-line at www.act.org to request that scores be submitted. Transfer students who wish to satisfy one or both parts of the Regents' Requirement with SAT/SAT II/AP/ACT/IB scores must have official test scores on file at UGA no later than the end of the first semester of enrollment at UGA. It is the student's responsibility to verify that the test scores are on file.

SAT/SAT II/ACT/IB scores must be electronically submitted by the appropriate testing source directly to the University of Georgia Undergraduate Admissions Office. The report received by a student will not be accepted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as official notification of test scores. The appropriate code will be required when requesting that scores be submitted to UGA. The College Board Code for UGA is 5813. The ACT Code for UGA is 0872. The cost for submission of test scores varies. You should allow 3-6 weeks for delivery. You may contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (542-8776) if you have questions regarding appropriate submission of qualifying test scores.

Original College Board AP grade reports may be submitted in person or by mail to the Honors Program, 208 Moore Hall.

A student who has achieved qualifying test scores but does not choose to obtain official submission of the scores must satisfy the Regents’ Reading and Writing Skills Requirement by one of the methods described above as a requirement for graduation. The student will be subject to all of the policies related to the Regents' Testing Program as outlined in the UGA Bulletin (www.bulletin.uga.edu).
