Submission of Grades
The final deadline for submitting Summer 2015 grades is 5:00 p.m. for the days listed for the following sessions: May Session- June 8; Short Session I- July 6; Extended, Thru, and Short Session II- August 3.
Any grades not submitted by the appropriate deadline will require a Change of Grade

If one of your students has registered for your course on a Pass/Fail basis, this is noted in the Status Column. Likewise, if you have a student who registered for your course as a Audit, this is also noted in the Status Column.
FERPA for Faculty and Staff and the FERPA Quiz
FERPA (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974) allows students to place a Restriction on their Directory Information. This Restriction prevents the disclosure of any information on this student including the fact that they are in fact a student at UGA. However, the law has recently been modified to clarify that a student may not choose to be anonymous within the classroom setting, whether in a traditional or distance learning class, by placing a Restriction on their records. Disclosure of personally identifiable information, such as the student’s name and email address, as required by the instructors and classroom setting for purposes of conducting the class and class activities is permissible under FERPA. All UGA faculty and staff are encouraged to review the FERPA for Faculty and Staff information
to ensure they are aware of the responsibilities in working with students’ educational records. Faculty and staff who are requesting access to the Student Information System are required to review the information and pass the quiz prior to submitting an access request.
